Comment: GOT TWO OF THESE METAL DETECTORS FOR MY GRANDAUGHTERS FOR CHRISTMAS. BOTH WERE DEFECTIVE. A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT. RETURNED THEM BOTH FOR CREDIT.

Comment: We took my two kids - ages 4 and 7 - out to look for treasures in our backyard. We found several coins. Then we took this with us to the beach and found a ring and some keys and a few more coins in the sand!!! Needless to say, the kids are hooked and it is something fun we can do as a family outside. I will say that it is definitely for children. My husband is actually looking at their other models now for himself!

Comment: Went out with the 8 year old. Found a quater, old rusty cans, a railroad spike and a few other things. The price I paid for the dector was well worth the fun I had with my son.. Buy one..
