Treasure Cove Fortune Finder Metal Detector (Model: TC-1020)

I am thrilled to have purchased thsi metal detector from Treasure Cove. It is a great entry level detector. I lost a ring while at the beach and my husband brought out the metal detector and found it with the metal detector!!

I have found gold jewelry with it, really old silver coins, and other neat things!!

Has worked great for me the last 2 years. Uses two 9 volt batteries. I use headphones 99% of the time and use the tone/discrimination settings more than the visual needle display. It has helped me find quarters, nickels, dimes, lots of pennies, lots of pull tabs and aluminum junk. Still haven't found allusive gold or old coins yet.....but still looking. Good price and quality for an introductory model, especially if you're not sure if you want to get serious with the hobbie.
