This series of knives was our first collaboration with Hawk Designs of Idaho City, ID: Gavin and Grant Hawk have long been friends of the Mantis organization, so it was only natural that we eventually collaborated to bring knife enthusiasts one of the most unique gadgets that the knife-marketplace has ever seen: The Bottleneck design boasts a bottle opener, and a 50-state legal butterfly knife which attaches effortlessly to any keyring with it's integral handle/latch configuration: Features: Overall Length 3.750". Just bought this knife and it seems to function alright as a keychain knife. The blade isn't too sharp and the black coating could be a bit of a bother if you ever decide to sharpen it. Its a skeletal handle with a latch on the bottom (as most butterflys have). I would give it four stars because it looks pretty awesome and I would love to carry it around on my keys except one of the screws for the handle came out and it fell apart the first day I got it. Wasnt too hard to screw back in but it sure leaves a doubt in my mind about the quality of construction and reliability. I wouldn't use this as a work knife or if you had to do some heavy duty cutting simply because im not sure it would last. Because of this its a bit pricer than what is available but if you wish to buy it as a cool collectors item or perhaps for a younger knife enthusiast then I guess its fine.

Had a problem with the knife, emailed mantis and received a reply very quickly. They were quick with a replacement and very consumer friendly. I may have had a problem but they took care of me. Great customer relations. Will shop with them again.
